A Tear in the Canyon.
So this was meant to go up yesterday, but due to some pretty terrible (nee lame) technical difficulties, I can finally bring you this posting. It's been a great time so far, and with yesterday, we went all over the place. I don't want to dwell on it too long but it included getting another interview done well, trying out some amazing food (The horchata was amazing), getting some new clothes for myself and checking out an amazing lookout point called "The Devil's Gate"
Dwelling on it a bit, my favorite portion was definitely when we went to Devil's Gate. The place is essentially something of a tear along a canyon wall. You were able to climb among the 2 sides of the tear and get an amazing view very high up (When the fog didn't obscure the view) I took some photos of that view with my manual camera, which is loaded with black & white film. I hope it looks as amazing as when I saw it. The scenery felt almost dream like, since the source of the fog was simply a cloud passing by. These are just a sampling of the thoughts that ran through my head for that day.
P.S. That lame technical difficulty was not knowing how to turn on the wireless router to get to the internet. Who knew some computers have a physical on/off switch for that? Unfortunately, not me...
